Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering division provides a broad range of expertise and technology to deliver quality solutions that are creditably unique on the Island. The great strength of Onsite Engineering lays in developing projects with a multi-disciplinary solution: from providing calculated lighting concepts to creating precise and code compliant fire and life safety designs.

Our extensive knowledge of Revit MEP and 3DS Max enables us to deliver efficient designs to LEED standards. Our portfolio includes Tier III data centers, sustainability and renewable energy tech, power plant design, data and communication facilities, advanced lighting, medical design and project supervision.

Leadership

Onsite's Electrical division is led by Michael Tucker C Eng MIET, with over 30 years of experience spread across construction, telecom and aerospace engineering.

He has run major utility companies, is on several boards and has been responsible for a large number of innovative and exciting projects over the years.

His experience spans a number of jurisdictions, from Germany, Bahrain, UK, and US prior to returning to Bermuda. His projects have included leading, sometimes close to bleeding edge, technologies for clients who have demanded high levels of control, sustainability and durability.

Mike believes in training local individuals to carry out the majority of the tasks Onsite delivers. He has been a leading advocate for engineering training and for the Profession for a number years. His leadership has seen several organizations through Investors in People, ISO9000 certification and some of the most successful Public Private Partnerships both as a contributor and as an instigator.
